Misfits Market Fall Harvest
Fall is in the air, and that means sweet treats made with crisp apples, pies baked with pumpkin, apple, or berry fillings, and a nice warm apple cider or hot chocolate to end the night. Fall brings some of the warmest memories, and some of the most delicious smells and flavors to our home. Misfits Market’s Fall harvest selection will let you experience some of these seasonal favorites!
What's For Breakfast?
During the fall and winter seasons, I tend to crave warm meals more than I do in the summer, and breakfast is no exception. With Misfits Market, you can purchase fresh fruit to add to your morning oatmeal. Not an oatmeal person? You can buy a box of Kodiak Cakes flapjack mix and top that with a delicious flavor of jam or one of their organic honeys! There’s a breakfast choice for everyone right on the Misfits Market website.
My current breakfast favorite is a nice warm bowl of maple and cinnamon oatmeal. Here’s what you need:
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats
- 1 cup Milk
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp Cloves
- 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
- Maple Syrup
- Pinch of Salt
- Apple
- Pecans
Mix the oats, milk, spices, and maple syrup to desired sweetness. Wait for the oats to cook completely and top with diced apples and pecans. Add more milk if you prefer a creamier oatmeal, or less if you desire a thicker one.

Sweet Fall Treats
While we all know that pumpkin spice is pretty much synonymous with autumn, you’re missing out on a ton of delicious fall flavors if that’s all you enjoy this fall. A delicious caramel apple pie, a fresh pear cobbler, or a delicious zucchini bread are all great treats to try this fall. You can find a great recipe for any of these desserts, and then build your Misfits Market box with everything you need!

Misfits Market’s fall harvest makes it easy to make your favorite desserts for your family, or for yourself (No judgment here!). Find all the ingredients you need, from cake mixes to flour, buy your favorite baking essentials along with your favorite fall fruits and veggies.
Make a quick baked pear dessert by halving some pears, and adding some granola on top and baking it. Sprinkle some brown sugar on top before baking for a sweet glaze, and serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
Seriously, fall desserts don’t have to be extravagant or difficult. Satisfy your sweet tooth or your midnight cravings easily with Misfits Market!
I love planning out these special meals each week as I build my Misfits Market box. Their new program (which just launched) allows me to select the items I want, rather than them selecting for me. I love looking through their large selection of recipes (created by Master Chef, Bobby Flay) and trying new flavor profiles.
If you’ve been on the fence about Misfits Market, let this be your sign to hop on over and give it a try. I mean, who can say no to easy grocery shopping delivered to your door. Leave us a comment if you try out this oatmeal recipe for yourself!
