My husband and I love a mean charcuterie board. Picking out in-season fruit, trying out new cheeses, and indulging in some local honey, make the charcuterie board a truly epicurean experience.

One of the things I love about Misfits Market is that I can order fresh fruit, vegetables, chocolates, honey, and other specialty items to create a beautiful charcuterie board. From fresh herbs to dried fruit and jam, Misfits Market has you covered!

Charcuterie board grocery list

Most of this delicious charcuterie board was sourced from Misfits Market. However, since they don’t offer meat and cheese, (for now!) I ran to my local health food store and picked those up. I had some honey, crackers, and nectarines lying around so I added those too. But the spotlight of this charcuterie board was the grapefruit. It was so good in fact, that I made a grapefruit blueberry spritzer mocktail to go with it! But I’ll tell you more about that later.

So, if you’re thinking of recreating this beauty of a cheese board, this is what you’ll need from Misfits Market!

  • Organic Grapefruit
  • Organic Dried Mango
  • Fresh Organic Rosemary
  • Organic Strawberries
  • Intense Orange Fruit Spread
  • Organic Blueberries
Of course, you can add or take away anything you’d like from this spread, but you can order all the above ingredients from Misfits Market (for less than what it will cost at the grocery store!)

The Romance of Cooking Together

One of the many upsides to picking a charcuterie board for date night, is the ability to create it together. Deciding what to buy and going grocery shopping for the extra stuff can be a fun experience. But we all know that eating it is the best part. To be honest, we ate about as much food making this charcuterie board as we did afterward.

Styling a charcuterie board is also not very difficult, so don’t be intimidated by all of the Pinterest boards you see. Start with the big things and build around them. I started with the grapefruit halves and then added the blueberries. Then I added the cheese blocks and the fruit spread.

After that I added this delicious honeycomb, sorry guys, the honey is local to me, but Misfits Market carries some amazing flavored honey.  Add the meat and crackers, and then add some extra fruit to fill in the bare spaces on the board.

We can’t forget these delicious grapefruit mocktails! Since we didn’t have anything to drink in the house, I had to improvise. I squeezed about a cup of grapefruit juice and a tablespoon of Misfits Market honey into a mason jar. Then I added some sparkling water and rosemary and shook it. I poured it into our glasses and added some blueberries. It was amazing!

I love planning out these special dinners each week as I build my Misfits Market box. Their new program (which just launched) allows me to select the items I want, rather than them selecting for me. I love looking through their large selection of recipes (created by Master Chef, Bobby Flay) and trying new flavor profiles.

If you’ve been on the fence about Misfits Market, let this be your sign to hop on over and give it a try. I mean, who can say no to easy grocery shopping delivered to your door. Leave us a comment if you try out this charcuterie board for yourself!
